Our aspiration is to create beauty in structure and its surroundings, design functional spaces, and have an eye and great appreciation for the minute details and bigger picture.
Meet The Team
Laura Sewell, Assoc. AIA
Owner, Architectural Designer
Laura is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she acquired her Bachelor of Architecture degree and minored in Interior Architecture. Nearing 10 years of design experience with a variety of involvement, Laura strives to apply traditional architectural and design knowledge with contemporary and timeless applications. It is her ultimate goal to hear the desires of each client and transform these desires into a lasting design that makes a house a home.
Laura's design approach merges traditional architectural principles with the practicality of modern-day spatial planning. Providing designs that are not only elegant but also functional.
Experience:
Laura has gained a wealth of experience in each opportunity she has been a part of. Beginning her career as an Architectural Designer for one of the top Residential Architects in the Southeast and as a Project Assistant and Interior Designer with a leading luxury Interior Designer in the region, she developed a great understanding of custom residential architectural and interior design and strives to apply each experience to her daily practice.
Prior to founding Project 88 Designs in 2019, Laura most recently practiced as an Architectural Designer in the commercial environment.
